2016 Super GT Series
The 2016 Autobacs Super GT Series was the twenty-fourth season of the Japan Automobile Federation Super GT Championship including the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) era, and the twelfth season under the name Super GT. It was the thirty-fourth overall season of a national JAF sportscar championship dating back to the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. The season began on April 10 and ended on November 13, after 8 races. Schedule Calendar Changes * The Super GT in Kyushu 300km at Autopolis was scheduled for May 22nd as the third round of the season but was subsequently cancelled in the aftermath of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes. 2016 F4 Japanese Championship
The 2016 F4 Japanese Championship season was the second season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 9 April in Okayama International Circuit, Okayama and finished on 13 November on Twin Ring Motegi after fourteen races held across six rounds. Teams and drivers Race calendar and results All rounds were held in Japan and were part of the 2015 Super GT season, Super GT events. The Autopolis round, initially scheduled for May 22nd, has been cancelled in the aftermath of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes. On July 1, it was finally decided that one of the cancelled races will be held at the fourth round at Fuji and the other at the season finale at Motegi, both rounds becoming triple-header rounds. Autobacs Racing Team Aguri (ARTA) is a joint racing project formed between former F1 driver Aguri Suzuki and Autobacs Seven Co. in 1997. The Lexus RC (Japanese: レクサス・RC, ''Rekusasu RC'') is a compact executive two-door coupé manufactured by Lexus, Toyota's luxury division.
