2016 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2016 Men's European Volleyball League was the 13th edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which features men's national volleyball teams from eight European countries. A preliminary league round was played from 3 to 20 June 2016, and the final four tournament, which was held at Varna, Bulgaria. Estonia defeated Macedonia 3–0 in the final. Bulgaria

Andres Toobal (born 27 August 1988) is an Estonian volleyball coach. He is the head coach of Selver Tallinn of the Estonian Volleyball League and also serves as the assistant coach of the Estonia women's national volleyball team. Oliver Venno
Oliver Venno (born 23 May 1990) is an Estonian volleyball player currently playing for Al Rayyan of the Qatari Volleyball League. He mostly plays at the opposite hitter position but has also played at the outside hitter position on numerous occasions. Club career Venno was born in Tartu, and started his career in hometown club Pere Leib Tartu at the age of 16. In addition to three Estonian League silver medals he won the Estonian Cup in 2008 with the and reached the finals of the Baltic League twice. Venno was named the Best Young Estonian Volleyball Player in 2008 and 2009. In summer of 2009 Venno signed with ACH Volley Bled of Slovenia. With the Bled team Venno won the Slovenian League, the Slovenian Cup and the MEVZA Cup. Renee Teppan
Renee Teppan (born 26 September 1993) is an Estonian volleyball player, a member of the Estonia men's national volleyball team and Polish club MKS Będzin. Club career Teppan was born in Pärnu, and started his career in hometown club Pärnu VK at the age of 17. After two seasons he moved to Bigbank Tartu and won the Estonian Championship in 2014. He then moved to abroad and signed with Italian team Altotevere Città di Castello alongside compatriot Andri Aganits. He spent the next two seasons with Hypo Tirol Innsbruck winning two Austrian Championship titles. For the 2017–18 season Teppan moved back to Italy and played for Diatec Trentino. In May 2018 he signed a two-year contract with the Polish PlusLiga top team PGE Skra Bełchatów. In his first season with the team Teppan mostly played as a substitute for the club legend Mariusz Wlazły. Ardo Kreek
Ardo Kreek (born 7 August 1986) is an Estonian volleyball player, a member of Estonia men's national volleyball team and French club Arago de Sète. Club career Kreek was born in Tallinn and started his career in his hometown club Sylvester Tallinn at the age of 17. In 2006 he moved to Estonian powerhouse VK Selver Tallinn where he played for the next three years. With Selver he won the Estonian Championship, the Estonian Cup and the Schenker League title twice. Selver and Kreek also reached to CEV Challenge Cup quarterfinals in 2008. In the beginning of 2009 Kreek played half a season in France, for Rennes Volley 35. In September 2009 he moved to Poland and signed with PlusLiga top team Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 28th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament played by 36 teams between 2 June and 8 July. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Curitiba, Brazil. In front of a crowd of 23,149 fans, France lifted the FIVB Volleyball World League trophy for the second time of their history, prevailing on an epic battle over hosts Brazil 3–2. This marked the fifth time in the last seven editions with Brazil reaching the final without successfully winning the gold medal. Rakvere
Rakvere is a town in northern Estonia and the administrative centre of the Lääne-Viru ''maakond'' (county), 20 km south of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea.
