Peadar Healy
Peadar Healy (born 1963) is a former Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. He was the manager of the Cork senior team from 2015 to 2017 Born in Ballyvourney, County Cork, Healy was introduced to Gaelic football at a young age. He enjoyed success at schools' level while simultaneously enjoying championship successes in minor and under-21 divisional grades with the Naomh Abán club. Healy also won a championship medal in the junior grade. Healy made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team. An All-Ireland medallist in this grade, he also won an All-Ireland medal as a non-playing substitute with the under-21 team. In retirement from playing Healy has become involved in team management and coaching. As a selector and coach with the Cork senior team, he helped guide the team to the All-Ireland title in 2010. GAA County Teams
A county is a geographic region within Gaelic games, controlled by a county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and originally based on the 32 counties of Ireland as they were in 1884. While the administrative geography of Ireland has since changed, with several new counties created and the six that make up Northern Ireland superseded by 11 local government districts, the counties in Gaelic games have remained largely unchanged. However, the county as used in Gaelic games does not always and everywhere cover precisely the same territory as the traditional county. Mallow GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Mallow, County Cork, Ireland. The club fields teams in hurling,Gaelic football,Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football ( LGFA). Cork Senior Football Team
The Cork county football team represents Cork in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Cork GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. Cork's home ground is Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork. The current manager is John Cleary. Daniel Goulding
Daniel Goulding (born 6 July 1986 in Ovens, County Cork, Ireland) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Éire Óg and has been a member of the Cork senior inter-county team since 2006. Biography Born in Ovens, County Cork, Goulding was educated at the local national school before later attending Coláiste Choilm in nearby Ballincollig. Here he became a star on the school football team, winning Cork colleges and Munster honours in all grades. Goulding later studied structural engineering at the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and qualified with a first class honours degree in 2008. He subsequently received funding from the Environmental Protection Agency to research in the area of renewable energy and is currently completing his PhD on a part-time basis while working for Bord Gáis.
