2016 Malaysia FAM League
The 2016 Malaysia FAM Cup (referred to as the FAM Cup or FAM League) is the 65th season of the Malaysia FAM League since its establishment in 1952. The league is currently the third level football league in Malaysia. Melaka United are the previous champion and currently play in the second level of Malaysian football, Malaysia Premier League. For 2016 season, there are 18 teams will compete in the league where 11 teams are from last season while 7 new teams entered the competition. Malaysia FAM League
The FAM Cup (Malay: Piala FAM) was a knock-out tournament for teams in both the Malaysia M3 League and the Malaysia M4 League in Malaysian football league system, Malaysia. The tournament was a cup format, but from 2008 to 2018 was held as a third-tier league tournament and used the FAM League (Malay: Liga FAM) name. The competition was first held in September 1951. Up to 1973, the competition was open to state teams that also competed in the Malaysia Cup, before the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) opened up the competition to club sides from 1974 onwards. Kedah (), also known by its honorific Darul Aman and historically as Queda, is a state of Malaysia, located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Harimau Muda C
Harimau Muda C is the team name for the former Malaysia national under-19 club. Football Association of Malaysia managed the Malaysia U-19 team as a football club that took part in Malaysia FAM League from 2013 season. The C team is for under-19 players, while Harimau Muda B players are between 18 and 21 and Harimau Muda A players are between 20 and 22. The team is aimed at developing Malaysian youth players and will not recruit any foreign nationals in its squad. By entering Harimau Muda C in domestic competitions, FAM hopes to expose top Malaysia under-19 players to competitive matches, thus helping them prepare for international tournaments. As such, Harimau Muda C is one of a small number of football clubs in the world which places an age-restrictions on team members while playing in a national professional league. The 2015 Piala Presiden (referred to as the President's Cup) is the 32nd season of the Piala Presiden since its establishment in 1985. The league is currently the youth level (U21) football league in Malaysia. Kelantan U21 are the defending champions. Rule changes The Piala Presiden is the amateur football competition in Malaysia for under-21 players. Since its inception in 1985, the Piala Presiden has been the major tournament for under-21 and under-23 players. In 2009, the format of the competition was changed with only under-20 players eligible to be fielded for the tournament. Perlis FA
Perlis FA State Football Team ( ms, Pasukan Bola Sepak Negeri Perlis), also known as Perlis FA, is a football team based in Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia which is run and managed by the Perlis Football Association (PFA). The team was founded in 1963 and is currently suspended by FIFA from playing in the Malaysian football league. Before their suspension, the team played in the 2019 Malaysia Premier League. Year 2019 was the first ever year that Perlis did not enter any tournament in Malaysian League since 1963.
