The 2016 KNVB Cup Final was a football match between Feyenoord and FC Utrecht on 24 April 2016 at De Kuip, Rotterdam. It was the final match of the 2015–16 KNVB Cup competition and the 98th Dutch Cup Final. The 2015–16 KNVB Cup is the 98th season of the Dutch national football knockout tournament. The winner qualifies for the group stage of the Europa League the following season and the Johan Cruyff Shield, the Dutch Supercup match between the Cup winner and the champions of the Eredivisie. Terence Kongolo (born 14 February 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ligue 2 club Le Havre, on loan from club Fulham. Eric Fernando Botteghin (born 31 August 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Italian club Ascoli. Career Botteghin played in the youth academy of Grêmio Barueri, but was also loaned out to Internacional for one season. Sven van Beek (born 28 July 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club Heerenveen.
