Ramon Leeuwin
Ramon Stanley Remy Leeuwin (; born 1 September 1987) is a Surinamese professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for SV TEC. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Suriname national team. Career Leeuwin is a defender who was born in Amsterdam and made his debut in professional football for FC Utrecht in the 2006–07 season. He later played for AGOVV, ADO Den Haag and Cambuur before returning to Utrecht in June 2014. In August 2018, he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Danish Superliga club OB. Following his stint in Denmark, he signed a one-and-a-half-year contract at AZ. On 1 July 2021, Leeuwin joined Almere City, where he signed a one-year deal. FC Utrecht
Football Club Utrecht () is a Dutch professional football club based in Utrecht. The club competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, and plays its home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard. The club was formed in 1970 as a merger between local clubs VV DOS, USV Elinkwijk and Velox. Tweede Divisie
Tweede Divisie ( en, Second Division) is the highest amateur (and historically the lowest professional) football league in the Netherlands. It was established in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. Between 1956 and 1960 and between 1962 and 1966, the league consisted of two divisions, Tweede Divisie A and Tweede Divisie B. The league was disbanded in 1971. Six clubs were promoted to the Eerste Divisie ( De Volewijckers, FC Eindhoven, FC VVV, Fortuna Vlaardingen, PEC and Roda JC), while the other eleven teams became amateur clubs. It began on 6 August 2010 with the first matches of the season and ended on 29 May 2011 with the last matches of the European competition and relegation playoffs. 2010–11 Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie 2010–11 was the 55th season of the Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1956. The previous year's winners were De Graafschap, who were replaced by last-placed 2009–10 Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. The league featured 18 teams, two fewer than its previous season, following the exclusion of HFC Haarlem from professional football and the relegation of FC Oss to the 2010–11 Topklasse. On May 12, 2010 BV Veendam was declared bankrupt due to financial troubles, with FC Oss consequently expected to be readmitted into Eerste Divisie to replace it; however, the verdict was overturned later in June, and the club was thus allowed to play in the season with a reduced budget. From this season on, the last-placed team would be relegated to the Topklasse, and replaced by the winner of the newly established third tier. The Eerste Divisie 2009–10 was the 54th season of the Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1956. The previous year's winners were VVV-Venlo; they, with runner-up RKC Waalwijk, after a promotion/relegation playoff win over De Graafschap, were promoted to the Eredivisie. Twenty teams took part: eighteen from the 2008-2009 season and relegated teams FC Volendam and De Graafschap. The season's champion was promoted to the Eredivisie, while eight other teams, the second- through fifth-place finishers and period winners, faced the Eredivisie's sixteenth- and seventeenth-place finishers in promotion/relegation playoffs. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. Eerste Divisie 2008–09 began in August 2008 and concluded in May 2009, with the promotion playoffs. Sixteen clubs remained in the Eerste Divisie, whilst Excelsior and VVV-Venlo were relegated from the 2007–08 Eredivisie.
