The 2016 Charlottesville Men's Pro Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the eighth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2016 ATP Challenger Tour, taking place in Charlottesville, United States from October 31 to November 6, 2016. Tennis Court
A tennis court is the venue where the sport of tennis is played. It is a firm rectangular surface with a low net stretched across the centre. The same surface can be used to play both doubles and singles matches. Peter Polansky
Peter Polansky ( ; born June 15, 1988) is a Canadian professional tennis player of Czech origin. He was Canada's top singles player from June 21, 2010, until January 17, 2011, in the ATP rankings. He was also Canada's No. 2 from August 4, 2008, until June 21, 2010, with the exception of one week. In 2018, he became the first player in the Open Era to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournaments as a lucky loser within the same calendar year. He is currently coaching fellow Canadian Denis Shapovalov while on a hiatus from competing professionally. Personal Polansky ( cz, Polanský) was born in North York, Ontario, Canada. Brydan Klein
Brydan Klein (born 31 December 1989) is an Australian-born British professional tennis player. As a junior, Klein won the 2007 Australian Open and reached a career-high top five in the ITF junior rankings. However, Klein has struggled to make the transition onto the men's professional circuit, failing to enter the top 150 or gain entry into any Grand Slam event without being given a Wild card. ''The Daily Progress'' is the sole daily newspaper in the vicinity of Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. It has been published daily, since September 14, 1892. The paper was founded by James Hubert Lindsay and his brother Frank Lindsay. The ''Progress'' was initially published six days a week; the first Sunday edition was printed in September 1968. Lindsay's family owned the paper for 78 years. On November 30, 1970, the family announced a sale to the Worrell Newspaper group, which took over on January 1, 1971. T. Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (born February 13, 1995) is a Vietnamese American tennis player. He played collegiately for the Virginia Cavaliers. On May 29, 2017, Kwiatkowski won the NCAA Men's Singles Championship. This victory earned him a wildcard into the main draw of the 2017 US Open. College career Coming out of high school, he was the nation's top recruit. Kwiatkowski was on three national championship teams during his time at Virginia. Yuki Bhambri (born 4 July 1992) is an Indian professional tennis player. He is a former junior no. 1 and winner of the 2009 Australian Open Junior Championship. Ryan John Shane (born April 15, 1994) is an American professional tennis player. He played college tennis at the University of Virginia. On May 25, 2015, Shane won the NCAA Men's Singles Championship. This victory also earned him a wild card into the main draw of the 2015 US Open. Early life Ryan's parents are Alaine and Jack Shane. Alexander Ritschard (born March 24, 1994) is a Swiss–American tennis player. He has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 163 achieved on 12 September 2022. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 388 achieved on 4 April 2022.
