2015–16 Washington Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Washington Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Washington in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Huskies were led by fourteenth-year head coach Lorenzo Romar. They played their games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 19–15, 9–9 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place. They defeated Stanford in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Oregon. They were invited to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Long Beach State in the first round to advance to the second round where they lost to San Diego State. Lorenzo Romar
Lorenzo Romar (born November 13, 1958) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is the head men's basketball coach at Pepperdine University, a position he held from 1996 to 1999 and resumed in 2018. Romar also served as the head men's basketball coach at Saint Louis University from 1999 to 2002 and the University of Washington from 2002 to 2017. Playing career Romar played college basketball at Cerritos College from 1976–78 and then for Washington from 1978 to 1980. After college, he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors and spent five years playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball team represents California State University, Fresno, located in Fresno, California, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Save Mart Center and since 2012–13 are members of the Mountain West Conference. Their current head coach is Justin Hutson. They were members of the Western Athletic Conference from 1992 to 2012. Robert Upshaw
Robert Ridjell Upshaw (born January 5, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Tainan TSG GhostHawks of the T1 League. He played college basketball for Fresno State and the University of Washington. College career Upshaw played high school basketball for San Joaquin Memorial High School in his hometown of Fresno, California. A top 100 recruit, he originally committed to play college basketball for Kansas State University, but was released from his commitment when Wildcats head coach Frank Martin left for another job. He then chose local Fresno State, where as a freshman in the 2012–13 season he averaged 4.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. The Tulane Green Wave are the athletic teams that represent Tulane University, located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tulane competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference (The American). There are 14 Green Wave intercollegiate programs. Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Basketball
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are an intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Gonzaga University. The school competes in the West Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Gonzaga Bulldogs play home basketball games at the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington, on the university campus. Gonzaga has had 15 of its players receive the WCC Player of the Year award, and two players, Frank Burgess in 1961 with 32.4 points per game, and Adam Morrison in 2006 with 28.1 points per game, have led the nation in scoring.
