The 2015–16 season was Middlesbrough's seventh consecutive season in the Football League Championship in their 140th year in existence. Middlesbrough F
Middlesbrough ( ) is a town on the southern bank of the River Tees in North Yorkshire, England. It is near the North York Moors national park. It is the namesake and main town of its local borough council area. Until the early 1800s, the area was rural farming land. By 1830, a new industrial town and port started to be developed, driven by the coal and later ironworks. Steel production and ship building began in the late 1800s, remaining associated with the town until post-industrial decline occurred in the late twentieth century. Daniel Sánchez Ayala (born 7 November 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Blackburn Rovers. His first club was Premier League club Liverpool, where he spent two seasons as a reserve. Dael Jonathan Fry (born 30 August 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Championship club Middlesbrough. James Andrew Husband (born 3 January 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back or a centre-back for EFL League One club Blackpool. Julien De Sart
Julien Ariel De Sart (born 23 December 1994) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Gent. He began his career in the youth academy of Standard Liège. De Sart went on to sign his first professional contract with the club's senior team in 2013, making his debut in that same year. Adam Charles Clayton (born 13 March 1960) is an English-born Irish musician who is the bass guitarist of the rock band U2. Grant Leadbitter (born 7 January 1986) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder.
