Melbourne City FC
Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south–eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East, that plays in the A-League, the top level of Australian soccer, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Founded in 2009 as Melbourne Heart, the club competed under that name from its inaugural 2010–11 season until they were rebranded in mid-2014 by the City Football Group (CFG), in partnership with Holding M.S. Australia. In August 2015, City Football Group bought out the Holding M.S. Australia consortium to have 100% ownership of the club. Since forming in 2009, Melbourne City has claimed two A-League Men premierships and one championship, as well as one FFA Cup title (in 2016). Melbourne City is run from the City Football Academy, a facility located within the Casey Fields sports precinct, in the south-east suburb of Cranbourne East. Jason Trifiro
Jason Trifiro (born 3 June 1988) is a former Australian football (soccer) player. Career Trifiro started his career in the semi-professional lower leagues in Australia, playing in New South Wales for National Premier Leagues NSW clubs Marconi Stallions, APIA Leichhardt and the South Coast Wolves. In 2011, he moved to Victoria where he played the 2011 Victorian Premier League with Northcote alongside his brother, before they both moved to ex- NSL heavyweight South Melbourne in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. In 2012 Trifiro was signed as one of the inaugural players for Western Sydney Wanderers. In 2014, he signed a one-year extension with the club. James Brown (Australian Footballer)
James Brown (born 19 February 1990) is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for National Premier Leagues club Hume City FC. At youth level, he played for the Australia national under-23 soccer team. He has 82 caps in the A-League with Gold Coast United, Newcastle Jets and Melbourne City between 2008 and 2016. Michael Zullo (born 11 September 1988) is an Australian professional footballer who last played as a left-back for Sydney FC of the A-League. Club career After being signed by the former Brisbane Roar coach Frank Farina on a two-year contract, Zullo played five of the six opening games of the season, coming on as a substitute. Harry Christopher Novillo (born 11 February 1992) is a Martiniquais professional footballer who recently played as a striker and winger . Aaron Frank Mooy (; ; born 15 September 1990) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Celtic and the Australia national team. Born in Sydney, Mooy played youth football for the New South Wales Institute of Sport and Bolton Wanderers before making his professional debut with St Mirren. Ivan Frankie Franjic (born 10 September 1987) is an Australian Association football, soccer player who plays for Heidelberg United FC, Heidelberg United in the NPL Victoria. Connor Chapman (born 31 October 1994) is an Australian professional footballer who plays for Melbourne Victory. He has represented Australia at under-17, under-20, and under-23 level. Aaron Hughes
Aaron William Hughes (born 8 November 1979) is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Hughes played mainly at centre back, but was also used at right back or left back, as well as anywhere in midfield.
