2015–16 Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters basketball team represented Louisiana Tech University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Techsters, led by head coach Tyler Summitt, played their home games at Thomas Assembly Center and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 14–16, 9–9 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the first round of the C-USA women's tournament to Rice. On April 7, 2016, Summitt resigned from Louisiana Tech for personal reasons citing "engaging in a relationship that has negatively affected the people I love, respect and care about the most." Tyler Summitt
Ross Tyler Summitt (born September 21, 1990) is a former American college basketball player and coach. Early years Summitt was born September 21, 1990 to R. B. Summitt, II and Pat Head Summitt. Pat Summitt was a former head coach of the University of Tennessee women's basketball team. Throughout his childhood, Summitt was often photographed with his mother at UT women’s basketball games and championships. In 2006, Summitt graduated cum laude from high school at the Webb School of Knoxville where he was a three-year starter in basketball. In his senior year, Summitt earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the Spartan Award as a point guard. He played basketball at the University of Tennessee as a freshman and sophomore. Brentwood Academy is a coeducational Christian independent college preparatory school located in Brentwood, Tennessee, for grades 6–12. History The charter of Brentwood Academy was signed on November 20, 1969, after ten acres of land on Granny White Pike was gifted by Tom P. Kennedy, Jr. Brentwood Academy was among a wave of private schools formed in response the court ordered desegregation of public schools. Brentwood Academy's leaders claimed the school was established to provide a sound, Christian education in a safer environment, but the sociologist Jennifer Dyer has argued that the school's stated objectives were simply a "guise" for the school's actual objective of allowing white parents to avoid enrolling their children in racially integrated public schools. Oxford, Mississippi
Oxford is a city and college town in the U.S. state of Mississippi. Oxford lies 75 miles (121 km) south-southeast of Memphis, Tennessee, and is the county seat of Lafayette County. Ouachita High School
Ouachita High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Donaldson, Arkansas, United States. Geneva, Illinois
Geneva is a city in and the county seat of Kane County, Illinois, United States. It is located on the western side of the Chicago suburbs. Per the 2020 census, the population was 21,393. Geneva is part of a tri-city area, located between St. Charles and Batavia. Northwest Florida State College is a public college in Niceville, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Columbia is a census-designated place in Howard County, Maryland. It is one of the principal communities of the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area. Duncanville High School is a secondary school located in Duncanville, Texas, United States, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The school is a part of Duncanville Independent School District. Elizabethtown High School
Elizabethtown High School is located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, United States. A part of Elizabethtown Independent Schools (EIS), it is commonly referred to as E'Town High School or EHS.
