2015–16 Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Vandals, led by eighth year head coach Don Verlin, played their home games at the Cowan Spectrum, with a few early season games at Memorial Gym, and were members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 12–6 record in Big Sky play to finish in third place. They defeated Eastern Washington in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Montana. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Seattle. Previous season The Vandals finished the 2014–15 season 13–17, 8–10 in Big Sky play to finish in a tie for seventh place. Don Verlin
Donald Gene Verlin (born June 15, 1965) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of Idaho from 2008 to 2019. Prior to Idaho, Verlin was an assistant coach at Colorado State, Utah State, and Cal State Bakersfield. Early life and education Born in Roseville, California, Verlin graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis in 1983. He graduated from California State University, Stanislaus in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and Colorado State University in 1993 with a master's degree in education. The Alaska Anchorage Seawolves are the 13 varsity athletic teams that represent the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, in NCAA intercollegiate sports. The vast majority of UAA's athletic teams are in NCAA Division II, with the exception of the women's gymnastics and men's ice hockey teams, which are members of Division I. Bothell High School
Bothell High School is located in Bothell, Washington, United States, and is one of four high schools in the Northshore School District. Approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12 attend the school, which is a member of the KingCo 4A athletic conference. The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008.
