The 2015–16 Hong Kong Third Division League is the 2nd season of Hong Kong Third Division League since it became the fourth-tier football league in Hong Kong in 2014–15. The league started on 6 September 2015 and ended on 22 May 2016. Hong Kong Third Division League
Hong Kong Third Division League is the fourth-highest division overall in the Hong Kong football league system under the organization of Hong Kong Football Association. Starting with the 2012–13 season, the two divisions of Hong Kong Third Division League were merged into one. Teams of Third Division League in the 2012–13 team were the 2 final round losing team and the 3rd to 10th placed teams of Hong Kong Third A Division League, along with the 3rd and 4th placed teams of Hong Kong Third District Division League. The remaining teams from Hong Kong Third A Division League and Hong Kong Third District Division League competed in Hong Kong Fourth Division League for the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons before the reformation was completed. Fukien AC
Fukien Athletic Club () are a Hong Kong professional multi-sports club, best known for its football team. Its football club currently plays in the Hong Kong Third Division. History Fukien Athletic Club was founded in 1925. At the early period, the club was funded by Chinese businessman and philanthropist Tan Kah Kee, who heralded from Fujian, as well as by group of Fujian immigrants. The club entered the Hong Kong football league system in 1930. In 1990, Fukien won their first trophy, capturing the Junior Shield. The club won their first league title nine years later, winning the Hong Kong Third A Division for 1998–99. North District Football Club (), currently known as Crownity North District due to sponsorship reasons, is a Hong Kong professional football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League, the top tier of Hong Kong football. History North District began fielding a football team in the Hong Kong football league system in 2002 as part of a Hong Kong Football Association initiative to involve district representative teams. North District were part of a group of 11 districts who participated in the inaugural season of this project. Ornament () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. Formed in 1948 by HK Gold & Silver Ornament Workers and Merchants General Union, the club has competed as high as the second tier of Hong Kong football. New Fair Kui Tan SC
Kui Tan Sports Club () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History In 1975–76, Kui Tan won the Hong Kong Third A Division title, the first trophy in the club's history. In 1977–78, Kui Tan finished runners up in the Hong Kong Second Division title and were promoted into the Hong Kong First Division for the first time. They also won the Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield, the first cup competition victory in club history. During their maiden season in the First Division, Kui Tan achieved a respectable fifth-place finish. The following season, the club were mired in a race for survival in the league with HKFC and Yuen Long. In the final match of the season against HKFC, keeper Lo Kwok Wah committed a crucial foul in the box leading to an HKFC penalty and goal.
