The 2015–16 season was Bristol City's 118th season as a professional football club and their first back in the Championship following promotion last season. Along with competing in the Championship, the club also participated in the FA Cup and League Cup. The season covered the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. Frank Fielding
Francis David Fielding (born 4 April 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Stoke City. He began his career at Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League. He spent time on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, Northampton Town, Rochdale, Leeds United, and Derby County, before making a permanent move to Derby County. In 2013, he signed for Bristol City, spending six years with the club until 2019. Fielding has played internationally for England twice at under-19 and twelve times at under-21 level. Derrick Shaun Williams (born 17 January 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Major League Soccer club D.C. United. He is a product of the Aston Villa Academy, having signed as a youngster from his local side Tramore AFC in County Waterford, and also played in England for Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers. Peterborough () is a cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, east of England. Mark Daniel Little (born 20 August 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays for Cymru Premier club Penybont as a defender. Richard Mark O'Donnell (born 12 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Blackpool. Having started his career with Sheffield Wednesday's youth system, O'Donnell progressed to the first team where he was largely used as an understudy goalkeeper.
