Monarchy Of Denmark
The monarchy of Denmark is a constitutional institution and a historic office of the Kingdom of Denmark. The Kingdom includes Denmark proper and the autonomous territories of the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The Kingdom of Denmark was already consolidated in the 8th century, whose rulers are consistently referred to in Frankish sources (and in some late Frisian sources) as "kings" (). Under the rule of King Gudfred in 804 the Kingdom may have included all the major provinces of medieval Denmark. Inge Eriksen
Inge Marie Eriksen (22 October 1935 – 13 March 2015) was a Danish writer and political activist. She became involved in Danish public debate in the 1960s and helped to the left-wing Left Socialists political party establish that she left in 1969. Eriksen began her writing career in 1975 and won various awards for her work from her first book that was published in 1975 and her final one in 2009. Her works include novels such as the science fiction series ''Rummet uden tid, 1–4'' and ''Sommerfugelens vinge''. Early life and education Eriksen was born in Skørping, Denmark on 22 October 1935. She was the daughter of the Norwegian railway official Erik Eriksen and the nurse Nanna Henriette Jungersen. Eriksen spent her early childhood in Southern Jutland, before she, her brother and mother relocated to Ålborg upon the death of her father in a German concentration camp in 1945. 2015 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships
The 2015 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, the 41st edition of the World Championships, were held from 19–23 August 2015 in Milan, Italy. Explanation of events Canoe sprint competitions are broken up into Canadian canoe (C), an open canoe with a single-blade paddle, or in kayaks (K), a closed canoe with a double-bladed paddle. Each canoe or kayak can hold one person (1), two people (2), or four people (4). For each of the specific canoes or kayaks, such as a K-1 (kayak single), the competition distances can be , , or long. When a competition is listed as a C-2 500 m event as an example, it means two people are in a canoe competing at a distance. Thorbjørn Olesen
Jacob Thorbjørn Olesen (born 21 December 1989) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, where he has won six times including the 2016 Turkish Airlines Open and the 2018 Italian Open. He has also won two important pairs events, representing Denmark, the 2016 World Cup of Golf with Søren Kjeldsen and the 2017 GolfSixes with Lucas Bjerregaard. Professional career Olesen turned professional in 2008. He finished in fourth place on the third tier Nordic League rankings in 2009, having won three tournaments, to graduate to Europe's second tier Challenge Tour for 2010. During his début season he claimed his first Challenge Tour title at The Princess, held in Sweden at the beginning of July. He finished third in the 2010 Challenge Tour ranking, earning him full exemption (category 10b) for the 2011 European Tour. The 2015 European Tour is the seventh edition of the Race to Dubai and the 44th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. Søren Kjeldsen (; born 17 May 1975) is a Danish golfer who plays on the European Tour. Professional career Kjeldsen turned professional in 1995. Kjeldsen's success on the second tier Challenge Tour in 1997, which included his first victory as a professional in the Volvo Finnish Open, earned him membership for the main European Tour for 1998. He won his first European Tour title at the 2003 Diageo Championship at Gleneagles. His second European Tour win came at the 2008 Volvo Masters at Valderrama Golf Club in Andalucia, Spain, where he won by 2 strokes over Martin Kaymer and Anthony Wall. He ended the year 10th on the Order of Merit, which to date is still his best year-end ranking.
