2015 World Table Tennis Championships
The 2015 World Table Tennis Championships were held in Suzhou from 26 April to 3 May 2015. The Championship was staged in China for the fifth time and was the 53rd edition of the individual competition. The decision was announced by ITTF in March 2012. Suzhou became the first Chinese host city at prefecture level which had accumulated sufficient experience by hosting three China Open tournaments from 2009 through 2011. Suzhou

Fang Bo (; born November 6, 1992) is a Chinese male table tennis player. In 2002, Fang Bo became a member of the Shandong Luneng table tennis club. In 2009, he joined the China national table tennis first team. In the same year December 2009, he won all four team and individual titles at the 2009 World Junior Championships, becoming the first youth player to accomplish this feat in China. Maharu Yoshimura
is a Japanese table tennis player. Life and career 1993–2010: Early life and background Yoshimura was born in Ibaraki Prefecture to a Filipina mother and a Japanese father. Li Qian (Polish Table Tennis)
Li Qian (born 30 July 1986 in Baoding) is a Chinese-Polish female table tennis player, who currently lives in Tarnobrzeg and represents the team of Siarka Tarnobrzeg. Career Li Qian became a naturalised citizen of Poland in November 2007. In early 2008, Li Qian became the first ever female Polish table tennis player to take part in the prestigious TOP-12 in Frankfurt am Main. Yu Mengyu
Yu Mengyu (; born 18 August 1989) is a retired Chinese-born Singaporean table tennis player. Born in Liaoning, China, Yu left China in 2006 at the age of 17 to join the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA). She was part of the team that won the 2010 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Moscow, Russia. She represented Singapore in the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics (Team & Singles). Yu retired from the national team on 22 March 2022. The Tokyo Olympics was her final international tournament. Early life Yu was born and raised in Liaoning. Feng Tianwei
Feng Tianwei (, ) is a Singaporean table tennis player. Born in Harbin, China, she permanently moved to Singapore at the age of 20 under the former Foreign Sports Talent Scheme in March 2007 and commenced her international career in competitive table tennis the following month. Feng represented Singapore for the first time in the Olympic Games at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. On 15 August 2008, the Singapore team comprising Feng and her teammates Li Jiawei and Wang Yuegu defeated South Korea 3–2 in the semifinals. The team lost to China in the final, obtaining the silver medal. This was Singapore's first Olympic medal in 48 years and its first as an independent nation. Koki Niwa
is a Japanese male table tennis player. He is the gold medalist at the 2010 Youth Olympics and he won the World Junior Table Tennis Championships in 2010 (doubles) and 2011 (singles). On 21 April 2012, he defeated Ma Long of China, World Rank no 1, to become the first player to be qualified for 2012 Olympics from the Asian Olympic Qualifiers. Kenta Matsudaira
is a Japanese table tennis player. Winner of the 2006 World Junior Championships in singles, he was the world number one junior player in 2008.
