2015 William Jones Cup
The 2015 William Jones Cup was the 37th staging of William Jones Cup, a top-level international basketball tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Taiwan from 29 August until 6 September 2015. All games were played in Xinchuang Gymnasium, New Taipei City. New Taipei
New Taipei City is a Special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality located in northern Taiwan. The city is home to an estimated population of 3,974,683 as of 2022, making it the most populous city of Taiwan, and also the second largest special municipality by area, behind Kaohsiung. Quincy Spencer Davis III ( zh, 戴維斯; born 16 February 1983) is a Taiwanese professional basketball player who plays for the New Taipei Kings of the P. League+. He renounced his U.S. citizenship in June 2013 to naturalize in Taiwan so that he could play for the Chinese Taipei national team in international competition. Childhood and education Davis was born in Los Angeles, California in an African American family. He graduated from McGill–Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile, Alabama in 2002 before going on to Tulane University, where he played for Tulane Green Wave men's basketball. Joji Takeuchi (竹内 譲次、born January 29, 1985 in Suita, Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese professional basketball player. He plays for the Alvark Tokyo of the B.League. Takeuchi also is a member of the Japan national basketball team, playing for the team in the 2006 FIBA World Championship and both the FIBA Asia Championship 2007 and FIBA Asia Championship 2009. Marquin Theo Jimmy Chandler (born March 11, 1982) is an American professional basketball forward. Early life and college Chandler was born in Berkeley, California, the oldest of three children, and graduated from Newark Memorial High School at Newark, California in 2000. Cory Bradford (born December 4, 1978) is an American professional basketball player for Zhuhai Wolf Warriors. Bradford, a dominant high school guard, led Memphis's Raleigh-Egypt High School to a 1997 District 2A Championship while averaging 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game in his senior season. Eric Michael Devendorf (born April 21, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. Devendorf played at Syracuse from 2005 to 2009. He averaged 15.7 points per game in his final season at Syracuse. He ranks 14th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,680 points. Despite having one more year of eligibility remaining, Devendorf decided to leave Syracuse and embark on a pro career.
