2015 Ulster Senior Football Championship
The 2015 Ulster Senior Football Championship is the 127th instalment of the annual Ulster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of Ulster GAA. It was one of the four provincial competitions of the 2015 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Donegal were the reigning champions following the 2014 Championship but lost to Monaghan in the final on 19 July by a point. Malachy O'Rourke
Malcahy O'Rourke is a Gaelic football manager and former player. Career He played for Fermanagh for more than ten years, but was only on the winning side twice in that period in the championship (both time against Antrim). When he was studying to be a physical education teacher at St Mary's University College, Belfast, O'Rourke played on the St Mary's team that won the 1989 Sigerson Cup along with people like Jarlath Burns, Pascal Canavan, Seamus Downey, Danny Quinn and Benny Tierney. His thesis was on the VO2 max of Gaelic footballers. He left his club Derrylin in the early 1990s and got a transfer to Errigal Ciarán because he had moved to Ballygawley, County Tyrone, on account of him teaching at St Joseph's Enniskillen and his wife teaching in Eglish so Ballygawley worked for the pair of them. Liam Bradley
Liam Bradley, commonly known by his nickname Baker, is a Gaelic football manager and former player for Glenullin and the Derry county team. He twice managed the senior Antrim county team between October 2008 and August 2012 and from November 2013 until 2014. Personal life Bradley comes from a family with a strong footballing background. Two of his uncles, James and Paddy Rafferty had played for Derry. When Bradley won the Derry Championship with Glenullin in 1985, five of his brothers were also on the team. His brother Gabriel won two Ulster Championship medals with Derry in 1975 and 1976. His cousin Colm Rafferty won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Derry in 1993. 1997 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 1997 Bank of Ireland All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 111th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament. The championship began on 11 May 1997 and ended on 28 September 1997. Meath entered the championship as the defending champions; however, they were defeated by Offaly in the Leinster final. On 28 September 1997 Kerry, the most successful county in Gaelic football history, claimed their 31st All-Ireland title - and their first since 1986 - with a 0–13 to 1–7 victory over Mayo. 2008 Ulster Senior Football Championship
The 2008 Ulster Senior Football Championship was the 120th installment of the annual Ulster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of the Ulster GAA. It was won by Armagh who defeated Fermanagh in the final after a replay. This was Armagh's sixth title since the turn of the century and their 14th overall. Fermanagh were appearing in their first final since 1982. Steven McDonnell, 2003's Player of the Year, was the top scorer, hitting 1-17 in Armagh's run to victory in Ulster. 2002 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2002 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 116th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament. The championship began on 5 May 2002 and ended on 22 September 2002. Galway entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Kerry in the All-Ireland quarter-final. On 22 September 2002, Armagh won the championship following a 1-12 to 0-14 defeat of Kerry in the All-Ireland final. This was their first All-Ireland title. It remains their only All-Ireland title. Ciarán McKeever
Ciaran McKeever (born 25 June 1983) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Patrick's and at senior level for the Armagh county team. He won a National Football League medal in 2005 as Armagh defeated Cavan in the final by 0-15 to 0-7. Playing career From County Armagh, McKeever played for Ireland in the International Rules Series of 2008 and 2010, and again in 2011 when he was vice captain of the team that defeated Australia by 130 to 65. He was called up for the 2013 International Rules Series ahead of the second Test as a replacement for Finian Hanley who suffered a hamstring tear. He played at Croke Park and won the Series. Kieran McGeeney (born 18 October 1971) is an Irish people, Irish Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager and former player, who currently manages his native county, having previously managed the senior Kildare county football team, Kildare county team from 2007 until 2013.
