The 2015 Shanghai Rolex Masters was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the seventh edition of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2015 ATP World Tour. The ATP Masters 1000 tournaments (previously known as ATP Masters Series) is an annual series of nine tennis tournaments featuring the top-ranked players on the ATP Tour. Nikoloz Basilashvili
Nikoloz Basilashvili ( ka, ნიკოლოზ ბასილაშვილი, tr, ; born 23 February 1992) is a Georgian professional tennis player. He reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 16 on 27 May 2019. In July 2018, he made it into the main draw of the German Open in Hamburg as a qualifier and went on to win the tournament, defeating Leonardo Mayer in the final, thereby becoming the first Georgian player since Alex Metreveli to win an ATP tournament. Zhang Ze (; ; born July 4, 1990), is a Chinese male tennis player. Zhang's career highlights include reaching the quarterfinals of the 2012 China Open (defeating Richard Gasquet en route), playing the Australian Open main draw in two consecutive years (2014 and 2015), and teaming up with Roger Federer to play doubles at the 2013 Shanghai Rolex Masters. Wu Di (; ; born 14 September 1991) is a professional Chinese tennis player. Professional career Wu has a career high singles ranking of world No. 140 achieved on April 25 2016, and a career high doubles ranking of world No. 186 achieved on April 2 2018. Tommy Haas
Thomas Mario Haas (; born 3 April 1978) is a German former professional tennis player. He competed on the ATP Tour from 1996 to 2017. After breaking into the world top 100 in 1997, and reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 in May 2002, his career was interrupted by injuries: Haas twice dropped out of the world rankings due to being unable to play for twelve months. His first period of injury saw him miss the whole of the 2003 season, and he did not return to the world's top 10 until 2007.
