2015 Ontario Tankard
The 2015 Ontario Tankard, the Southern Ontario men's provincial curling championship, was held from February 2 to 8 at the Dorchester Flight Exec Centre in Dorchester, Ontario. The winning Mark Kean rink represented Ontario at the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary, Alberta. Dorchester, Ontario
Dorchester is a town in Ontario whose name first applied to the township and honours Sir Guy Carleton, Lord Dorchester (1724-1808). The name was changed from Dorchester Station on May 3, 1961. Dorchester is the residential and commercial core of the municipality of Thames Centre, in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, a few kilometres directly east of the city of London. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the town has a population of 3,911. The local arena underwent a $10 million expansion and opened on November 2, 2010. This expansion added a second NHL-sized ice pad, a gymnasium, and many other facilities to go along with upgrades to the existing part. It is now home to the Dorchester Dolphins Junior C hockey team. Carp, Ontario
Carp is a compact rural community in West Carleton-March Ward in the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located in the northwestern portion of the municipality on the Carp River. It is about from downtown Ottawa. Prior to amalgamation in 2001, Carp was located in the West Carleton Township. Carp is located in the Kanata—Carleton electoral riding. Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Steve Bice
Stephen "Steve" Bice (born October 5, 1981 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Milton, Ontario. He is currently the alternate for his brother Mark's rink. Career Bice was a former alternate on Glenn Howard's team. The 2007 Ontario Men's Curling Championship took place in Bice's hometown of Sarnia. Bice was on the spare list, and when Howard's second Brent Laing had to leave the tournament because his wife was giving birth, Bice was picked up to play on the team. The team won the provincials, and he was kept for the 2007 Tim Hortons Brier, which the team also won. He capped off the season by winning the 2007 Ford World Men's Curling Championship. Bice would remain on as alternate for the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Tim Hortons Briers. He threw just a combined 17 shots in all four Briers.
