Louisville City FC
Louisville City Football Club is an American professional soccer club based in Louisville, Kentucky. The team plays in the USL Championship, known through the 2018 season as the United Soccer League (USL), which is currently the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. The club was founded in 2014 after Orlando City's USL team franchise rights were relocated to Louisville and played their first USL season in 2015. After reaching the Eastern Conference finals of the USL playoffs in both its first two seasons, the club went on to win the 2017 USL Cup in only its third season of existence. Young Harris College is a private Methodist-affiliated liberal arts college in Young Harris, Georgia, United States. History Origins The school was founded in 1886 by Artemas Lester, a circuit-riding Methodist minister who wanted to provide the residents of the Appalachian Mountains with an education. The college was funded in part by production from an agricultural program, or college farm. Students who could not afford education were allowed to work on the farm to earn tuition. Originally known as McTyeire Institute for the small village where the school was located, the college struggled for the first year until an Athens judge, Young L.G. Harris, donated enough money to keep the school open. Lafayette High School is a public high school in Lexington, Kentucky that has been open for , seen the beginning of racially-desegregated education in the city, and been overseen by eight principals. History Founded in 1939 to replace Picadome High School, Lafayette High School was built on the grounds of a former orphanage with funding from the Works Progress Administration. The school was named for Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette; the French general's family gave the school permission to use their family coat of arms as a logo. Kentucky Wildcats Men's Soccer
The Kentucky Wildcats men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of Kentucky (UK). Since the Southeastern Conference (SEC) does not sponsor men's soccer (minimum four schools needed to sponsor a sport, only two offer it), the team has been associate members of other conferences. From 1995 to 2004, it was a member of the Mid-American Conference. In 2005, UK moved men's soccer to Conference USA, creating a rivalry with fellow new member South Carolina, which had rejoined the reunified conference that season. Both UK and South Carolina remained in C-USA men's soccer through the 2021 season, after which both programs left for the newly reinstated men's soccer league of the Sun Belt Conference. Magnus Rasmussen
Magnus Worziger Klein Rasmussen (born 18 April 1993) is a Danish footballer. Career Rasmussen came up through the youth academy of Nordsjælland, before moving to Danish second-division BSV in 2013. Rasmussen signed with USL side Louisville City FC on 12 February 2015. Rasmussen scored Louisville City's first ever competitive goal against Saint Louis FC in the opening game on 28 March 2015. He totaled eight goals and four assists in LouCity's inaugural season. In June 2016, he returned to the field after seven months of recovery from hip labral tear surgery. He rejoined the starting lineup in August. He made the USL Team of the Week twice with his first three goals. Cameron Paul Lancaster (born 5 November 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Louisville City in the USL Championship. Early life Lancaster was born in Camden and raised in Muswell Hill. He attended East Barnet School. He played for Oakhill Tigers in the Watford Friendly League as a boy.
