I Lyga
The I Lyga, LFF I Lyga, Pirma Lyga, is the second tier of professional Lithuanian football championship. Format Organized by the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF), I Lyga is contested by 14-16 teams, with the top team gaining promotion to A Lyga and replaced by the lowest-placed team in top division and the bottom 4 clubs being relegated to the II Lyga. Starting with the 2016 season, the second-placed team qualifies to promotion play-offs with A Lyga's next-to-last team. The final list of participants often does not correlate to the final results of the previous season, as the participation is finalized through the Lithuanian Football Federation league licensing process. FK Minija was a Lithuanian football team from town Kretinga. History Club founded in 1962. In soviet occupation period played in "A" klasė and Aukščiausia lyga (First tier). The best season was in 1964, when team took third place in top division. In the same year team won Lithuanian football cup. In Lithuanian Independence period team was in second or third tier. In 2015 m. was in 16th position in Pirma lyga (second tier). In 2016 m. had financial problems, in squad was lot of youngsters and team stayed at last position 16. Darius And Girėnas Stadium
Darius and Girėnas stadium ( lt, Dariaus ir Girėno stadionas) is a multi-use stadium in the Ąžuolynas park in Žaliakalnis district of Kaunas, Lithuania. The all-seater stadium holds 15,315 people. In 1998 the stadium was renovated according to UEFA regulations, and in 2005 it was modernised with the installation of the biggest stadium television screen in the Baltic states. LFF Stadium (Lithuanian Football Federation stadium, ), formerly known as Vėtra Stadium, is a football stadium in Vilnius, Lithuania.
