Kashima Antlers
are a football club in Kashima, Ibaraki, currently playing in the J1 League, top tier of Japanese professional football leagues. The name ''Antlers'' is derived from the city name, Kashima, which literally means "deer island". The club has financial backing from Mercari, a Japanese e-commerce company. Since the J.League's creation and introduction of professional Japanese football in 1993, Kashima have proven themselves to be by far Japan's most successful football club in terms of trophies won, having won the J.League title a record eight times, the J.League Cup a record six times and the Emperor's Cup five times for an unprecedented nineteen major domestic titles. Hiroki Fujiharu
is a Japanese football player. He plays as a left back for Gamba Osaka in J1 League. Club career Born and raised in Osaka, Fujiharu joined local club Gamba Osaka in 2011 after graduating from the Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences. He only played 11 league games during his debut campaign but went on to make the left-back position his own in 2012. He played all 34 league matches that year, however it was not a successful one for his club as they found themselves relegated to J2 League after finishing in 17th place. Koki Yonekura
is a Japanese people, Japanese Association football, footballer who plays for JEF United Chiba as a Defender (association football), right full-back, and occasionally as an attacking midfielder. He previously played for JEF United Chiba, JEF United between 2007 and 2013. Masaaki Higashiguchi
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Gamba Osaka and the Japan national football team. He previously played for Albirex Niigata. Club career A native of Osaka, Higashiguchi spent time in Gamba Osaka's youth system prior to entering university, first at the Fukui University of Technology and later at the Niigata University of Management where he represented their football team in the 2008 Emperor's Cup. After graduating from university, Higashiguchi signed his first professional contract with then J1 League outfit Albirex Niigata. Masatada Ishii
is a Japanese professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Thai League 1 club Buriram United. Playing career Ishii was born in Ichihara on 1 February 1967. After graduating from Juntendo University, he joined Japan Soccer League club NTT Kanto in 1989. He played many matches from first season. He moved to Sumitomo Metal (later ''Kashima Antlers'') in 1991. In 1992, Japan Soccer League was folded and founded new league J1 League. is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Kashima Antlers. Club career Kashima Antlers Suzuki joined the Kashima Antlers youth system at the age of 7 in 2003.
