2015 GCC Champions League
The GCC Champions League ( ar, دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية), is an annually organized football league tournament for club of the Arabian peninsula. The 2015 edition was the 30th edition and will start in February and finished with the final on 27 May. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both Territories of the United States, territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC. 2013–14 Oman Professional League
The 2013–14 Oman Professional League (known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 38th edition of the top football league in Oman. The Oman Football League got the seal of approval of a professional league on 1 September 2013 and will henceforth be called the Omantel Professional League (OPL). The season began on 13 September 2013, and concluded on 16 May 2014. Al-Suwaiq Club were the defending champions, having won their third title in the previous 2012–13 Elite League season. On Sunday, 28 April 2014, Al-Nahda Club were crowned the champions of the inaugural Oman Professional League with one game remaining after Al-Suwaiq Club edged out ten-man Fanja SC 5-3. King Abdullah Sport City Stadium
The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, previously known as the Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, is a football stadium in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. It is used mainly for football and hosts the home matches of Al Taawon and Al-Raed of the Saudi Professional League. The stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000 spectators. Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex
The Sultan Qaboos Stadium at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex ( ar, مجمع السلطان قابوس الرياضي), also known locally as Boshar ( ar, بوشر), is a government-owned multi-purpose stadium in the Boshar district of Muscat, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and also has facilities for athletics. The stadium originally had a capacity of over 40,000, but after recent renovations the capacity was reduced to 34,000. It is the home stadium of the Oman national football team. Al-Nasr CSC ( ar, نادي النصر الرياضي) is an Emirati professional association football, football club based in Al Nasr, Dubai and competes in the UAE Pro League. Al-Nasr, literally translating to "victory" in Arabic, was founded in 1945 and is considered as the first and oldest club in the United Arab Emirates. Al-Faisaly FC ( ar, نادي الفيصلي) is a Saudi Arabian football team playing in the Saudi Professional League, based in Harmah City with a population of around 15,000 people. The club is named after King Faisal (r. 1964–75); he was crown prince at the time of the club's founding. 2013–14 Saudi Professional League
The 2013–14 Saudi Professional League (known as the Abdul Latif Jameel Professional League for sponsorship reasons) was the 38th season of the Saudi Professional League, the top Saudi professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1976. The season began on 23 August 2013 and ended on 6 April 2014. Al-Fateh were the defending champions having won their first title last season. The league was contested by the 12 teams from the 2012–13 season as well as Al-Nahda and Al-Orobah, who joined as the promoted clubs from the 2012–13 First Division. Al-Taawon FC
Al Taawoun Football Club ( ar, التعاون, lit=Cooperation) is a professional multi-sports club based in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. The football team competes in the Saudi Professional League, the top tier of Saudi Football. The club play their home games at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Buraidah, sharing the stadium with city rivals Al-Raed with whom they contest the Qasim Derby with. History Al-Taawoun were founded in the year of 1956 under the name of "Al-Shabab" by their founder Saleh Al Wabili.
