2015 Football West Season
The 2015 Football West season was the second season under the new competition format in Western Australia. The overall premier for the new structure qualified for the National Premier Leagues finals series, competing with the other state federation champions in a final knockout tournament to decide the National Premier Leagues Champion for 2015. National Premier Leagues Western Australia
The National Premier Leagues Western Australia is a regional Australian semi-professional soccer league comprising teams from Western Australia. The league name is often abbreviated to NPL Western Australia or NPL WA. As a subdivision of the National Premier Leagues, the league is the highest level of the Western Australian league system (Level 2 of the overall Australian league system). The competition is administered by Football West, the governing body of the sport in the state. Perth Soccer Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in West Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1987 as the result of a merger between three local sides, though its pre-merger history is regarded to be that of Perth Azzurri after taking full control of the club in 2002. Rory Christopher Patterson (born 16 July 1984) is a Northern Irish footballer who plays as a forward for Strabane Athletic and is the club's player-manager. Perth Glory Under-23s is the youth system of Perth Glory Football Club based in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The academy teams play in the Y-League and National Premier Leagues (U20, U18, U15). Perth Glory Youth is the highest level squad within the setup. They play in the National Premier Leagues and play the majority of their home games at Hartfield Park (known for sponsorship reasons as Crazy Domains Stadium) in Forrestfield. Subiaco AFC (Amateur Football Club) is a soccer club based in the city of Subiaco, Western Australia, with their home grounds at Rosalie Park. They are considered one of the biggest footballing teams in the state, with over 110 teams participating in various Football West competitions. History Early Years The club was formed originally in 1910 as the Subiaco British Association Football Club. Playing in black and white, they competed in WA British Football Association League at the Perth Oval and Wellington Square.
