2015 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Series
The 2015 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics includes seven category B events. Except for Bucharest, which is a competition for individuals only, all tournaments feature Individual and Group competitions. The All-around medal event also serves as qualification for the apparatus finals. With six stopovers in Europe and one in Asia, the competitions took place on March 26–29 in Lisbon (POR), April 3–5 in Bucharest (ROU), April 10 – 12 in Pesaro (ITA), May 22 – 24 in Tashkent (UZB), August 7 – 9 in Budapest (HUN), August 14–16 in Sofia (BUL), and August 21–23 in Kazan (RUS). Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is a competition for rhythmic gymnastics sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the few tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the World Championships (including the Junior World Championships), the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympics, and the rhythmic gymnastics events at the World Games. The World Cup series should not be confused with the Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix series, which is neither officially organized nor promoted by FIG. History In 1983, FIG decided to hold a World Cup event in rhythmic gymnastics. The event was staged as an alternative to the World Championships, a tournament held, at the time, every four years. Neta Rivkin
Neta Rivkin ( he, נטע ריבקין; born June 19, 1991) is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is one of Israel's most successful rhythmic gymnasts. A three-time Olympian, in 2011 she won the silver medal in clubs at the 2011 European Championships. That same year she also won a bronze medal in the individual hoop final at the 2011 World Championships. She won the all-around silver medal at the 2014 Grand Prix Final. Salome Pazhava ( ka, სალომე ფაჟავა; born September 3, 1997) is a former Georgian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is Georgia's most successful rhythmic gymnast after Irina Gabashvili . Kseniya Moustafaeva (born 8 June 1995 in Minsk, Belarus) is a French individual rhythmic gymnast of Belarusian origin. She is a 5-time French National all-around champion. Career Moustafaeva started gymnastics at 4 years of age. She and her mother, Svetlana moved to France in 2000. She has been member of the French national team since 2010. Marina Sergeyevna Durunda (born 12 June 1997) ( az, Marina Sergey qızı Durunda;russian: Марина Сергеевна Дурунда) is a retired Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani individual rhythmic gymnast. Durunda started her senior career in 2013, and soon became the leader of the Azerbaijani gymnastics and a three-time (2013-2015) national champion. Son Yeon-jae KTM (born 28 May 1994) is a South Korean retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a former member of the South Korean national gymnastics team, based in Taereung, Seoul.
