2015 Damallsvenskan
2015 Damallsvenskan was the 27th season of the Swedish women's association football top division, Damallsvenskan. It was played between 11 April 2015 and 18 October 2015. FC Rosengård were the defending champions, having won the competition in 2014. They successfully defended their title and together with Eskilstuna United qualified for the 2016–17 UEFA Women's Champions League. AIK and Hammarby were relegated to the 2016 Elitettan. Teams Tyresö FF and Jitex BK were relegated at the end of the 2014 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. FC Rosengård
FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970. It started out with playing 7 seasons in the Division 1 (until 1987), but has played in Damallsvenskan in since it formed in 1988. The team has won the league a record twelve times, the latest in 2021. As of the end of the 2015 season, the club ranks first in the overall Damallsvenskan table. Mallbackens IF is a football club from Mallbacken, 15 kilometres north of Sunne in Värmland, Sweden. The club was established in 1942 and played in the Women's premier division (Damallsvenskan The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. Malmö Idrottsplats ("Malmö sports field"), commonly referred to simply as Malmö IP and sometimes as Gamla IP ("The old sports field"), is a stadium in Malmö, Sweden, that is primarily used for association football. As of 2015, it is the home of women's association football club FC Rosengård, currently playing in Damallsvenskan; the men's clubs Malmö FF and IFK Malmö have played there in the past. Tunavallen
Tunavallen is a multi-use stadium in Eskilstuna, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 7,800 seated spectators. The original stadium was one of the venues for the 1958 FIFA World Cup. It was also the venue for the replay of the Swedish bandy final in 1954. The capacity was 22,000 spectators. Eskilstuna () is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The city of Eskilstuna had 67,359 inhabitants in 2015, with a total population of 100,092 inhabitants in Eskilstuna municipality (2014). Eskilstuna has a large Sweden Finn population. The town is located on the River Eskilstunaån, which connects Lake Hjälmaren and Lake Mälaren. Solna Municipality ( sv, Solna kommun or , ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. Jitex BK
Jitex BK, more commonly known as just ''Jitex'', is a football club in Mölndal, Sweden, that competes in Elitettan, the second tier of Swedish women's football. The club was founded January 21, 1971 and previously played in the Elitettan, Sweden's second highest division, and the top division league, the Damallsvenskan. Jitex won six national championships and three victories in the Swedish Cup during the 1970s and 1980s. The Jitex name came from the first sponsor; Jitex fashion house. The team which has become known for their characteristic purple kit, was first trained by Sven Lundbeck. Notable players during this successful era include Anette Börjesson, Elisabeth Leidinge, Anna Svenjeby and Pia Sundhage.
