2015 Copa Do Nordeste
The 2015 Copa do Nordeste was the 12th edition of the main football tournament featuring teams from the Brazilian Northeast Region. The competition featured 20 clubs, with Bahia and Pernambuco having three seeds each, and Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, Alagoas, Paraíba, Maranhão and Piauí with two seeds each. For the first time, the competition included teams from Maranhão and Piauí. Ceará Sporting Club, or Ceará, as they are usually called, is a Brazilian football team from the city of Fortaleza, capital city of the Brazilian state of Ceará, founded on June 2, 1914, by Luís Esteves and Pedro Freire. 2014 Campeonato Cearense
The 2014 Campeonato Cearense de Futebol was the 100th season of top professional Campeonato Cearense, football league in the state of Ceará, Brazil. The competition began on January 5 and ended on April 23. Ceará Sporting Club, Ceará won the championship for the 43rd time and 4th since 2011, while Ferroviário Atlético Clube (CE), Ferroviário, Associação Esportiva Tiradentes, Tiradentes and Crato Esporte Clube, Crato were relegated. Format The championship has three stages. On the first stage, all teams excluding those who are playing in 2014 Copa do Nordeste play a double Round-robin tournament, round robin. Clube Náutico Capibaribe (), or simply Náutico, is a Brazilian multi-sport club based in Recife, Pernambuco. The club is most notable for its association football team, that plays in the Série C, the third tier of the Brazilian football league system, as well as in the Campeonato Pernambucano, the top division in the Pernambucano state football league system.
