2015 Argentine Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 Argentine Republic motorcycle Grand Prix was the third round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo in Santiago del Estero on 19 April 2015. In the MotoGP class, Marc Márquez took his second pole position of the season. In the race, he started well and pulled away from the field to a maximum advantage of 4 seconds. However, Valentino Rossi closed in on Márquez, and on lap 22, immediately followed him. At Turn 5, Márquez made contact with Rossi, with Márquez's bike hitting Rossi's rear tyre. Márquez could not rejoin, and as a result, Rossi took his second win of the season. Andrea Dovizioso took his third successive second place, while Cal Crutchlow took Team LCR's first podium since the 2013 United States Grand Prix with third place, after passing Andrea Iannone at the final corner. Efrén Vázquez Rodríguez (born 2 September 1986 in Barakaldo, Spain) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He currently is a test rider for KTM's Moto3 project. He has also competed in the 125cc and 250cc world championship classes during his career, and was the 2008 Spanish 125GP championship winner. At the 2014 Indianapolis Grand Prix, Vázquez achieved his first Grand Prix victory – in his 116th start – after slipstreaming past Romano Fenati on the final straight, prevailing by 0.065 seconds. Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero (; born 4 May 1987) is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer. Hiroshi Aoyama
is a Japanese retired Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, and current team principal of Honda Team Asia. Aoyama is best known for winning the 2009 250cc World Championship title. He is the older brother of former 250cc and World Superbike rider, Shuhei Aoyama. In his six seasons in the 250cc World Championship, he raced Honda and KTM machinery in an Aprilia-dominated class. He took nine victories and never finished lower than seventh overall. By winning the 2009 250cc World Championship, Aoyama become the last winner of this class before its replacement by the Moto2 class in 2010. 2013 United States Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2013 United States motorcycle Grand Prix was the ninth round of the 2013 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, and the second of three races in the 2013 season to take place in the United States of America. It was held on 21 July at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. Like always, only a MotoGP class race was held at Laguna Seca. Stefan Bradl took pole position, recording his first pole position in MotoGP. At the famous corkscrew turn on lap 4 Marc Márquez, having had a faster run out of the previous corner, ran around the outside of Valentino Rossi coming into the corkscrew and was run wide by Rossi mid-corner. Márquez replicated the overtake that Rossi made on Casey Stoner at the same corner in 2008 to pass the Italian and gave chase to Bradl.
