The 2015 African Volleyball Championship U21 was held in Cairo, Egypt from 27 February to 1 March 2015. The champions of the tournament qualified for the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship. Egypt finished the 3-team round-robin tournament on top of the standing to clinch their third title. 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was the eighteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, which was hosted by Mexico from 11 to 20 September 2015 in the cities of Mexicali and Tijuana. Russia, won the tournament after defeating Argentina 3-2 in the final match, thus securing the country's tenth title and the third in a row, after winning the editions of 2011 in Brazil and 2013 in Turkey. Pavel Pankov was elected the Most Valuable Player. Qualification The FIVB Sports Events Council confirmed a proposal to streamline the number of teams participating in the Age Group World Championships on 14 December 2013. Eastern European Time (EET) is one of the names of UTC+02:00 time zone, 2 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. The zone uses daylight saving time, so that it uses UTC+03:00 during the summer. African Volleyball Confederation
The African Volleyball Confederation (French: ''Confédération Africaine de Volleyball'', or CAVB) is the continental governing body for the sports of volleyball in Africa. Its headquarters are located in Rabat, Morocco. Profile The CAVB was the last confederation to be created: it was established in 1972, when the FIVB turned its five Volleyball Zone Commissions into continental confederations. The African Volleyball Commission had been founded in 1967.
