2014–15 Virginia Tech Hokies Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team represented Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first year head coach Buzz Williams and played their home games at Cassell Coliseum. They were a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 11–21, 2–16 in ACC play to finish in last place. They advanced to the second round of the ACC tournament where they lost to Miami (FL). Buzz Williams
Brent Langdon "Buzz" Williams (born September 1, 1972) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach at Texas A&M University. He previously served as head coach at Virginia Tech from 2014 to 2019, Marquette from 2008 to 2014, and New Orleans during the 2006–07 season, and as an assistant coach at Texas-Arlington, Texas A&M–Kingsville, Northwestern State, Colorado State, and Texas A&M. Background and personal life Brent Langdon Williams grew up in Van Alstyne, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a master's degree in the same field at Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 1999. Williams married Corey Norman in 2000. They have two daughters (Addyson and Zera) and two sons (Calvin and Mason). Jarell Eddie
Jarell Alexander Eddie (born October 30, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for AYOS Konyaspor of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Virginia Tech before splitting the first four years of his professional career in the NBA and NBA G League. Since 2018, Eddie has played in Europe. High school career Eddie attended the Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina, where he was a five-year letter winner for coach Ron Johnson. He scored 2,600 points in his high school career and was an all-conference selection all five years. He was also an all-state selection as a sophomore, junior and senior. The South Florida Bulls men's basketball team represents the University of South Florida in NCAA Division I basketball competition, where they are currently a member of the American Athletic Conference. Zach LeDay
Zachary Vincent LeDay (born May 30, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Serbian League, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for the University of South Florida and Virginia Tech. At a height of 2.02 m (6'7 ") tall, and a weight of 107 kg (235 lbs.), LeDay primarily plays at the power forward position. The Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team represents the University of Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I competition. Maryland, a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), left the ACC in 2014 to join the Big Ten Conference.
