2014–15 Scottish League Cup
The 2014–15 Scottish League Cup was the 69th season of Scotland's second-most prestigious football knockout competition. It is also known as The Scottish League Cup presented by QTS for sponsorship reasons. Celtic won the cup after a 2–0 win against Dundee United in the final. Format The competition was a single elimination knock-out competition. In each round, fixtures are determined by random draw, with the first to third rounds seeded according to last season's league positions (higher 50% of finishers drawn v lower 50% of finishers, alternating which is at home with each tie drawn). Fixtures are played to a finish, with extra time and then penalties used in the event of draws. The competition is open to all clubs in the Scottish Professional Football League. Clubs involved in European competitions are given a bye to the third round to avoid congestion of fixtures. Glebe Park, Brechin
Glebe Park is a football stadium in Brechin, Scotland, which is the home ground of Brechin City. Glebe Park opened in 1919. The ground had just one portable stand, which had been used at the Perth agricultural show. Brechin City joined the Scottish Football League in 1929, when a pavilion was added and the Cemetery End terrace was covered. The biggest ever attendance was 8,123, against Aberdeen in a Scottish Cup tie played on 3 February 1973. This attendance was greater than the population of Brechin. Floodlights were installed and used for the first time in 1977, in a match against Hibernian. The old stand was replaced by a new Main Stand, with 290 seats, in 1981. Sponsorship by the Stewart Milne group and a Football Trust grant of £210,000 financed the construction of a 1,228 seat stand at the Trinity Road end of the ground. Andy Graham
Andrew Graham (born 22 September 1983, Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish League One side Alloa Athletic. Graham started his career as a youth with Glasgow Amateurs, before playing for Stirling Albion, Hamilton Academical, Greenock Morton, Dumbarton and Ayr United. Career Stirling Albion Graham joined Stirling Albion from Glasgow Amateurs U-21 squad. Dumbarton F
Dumbarton (; also sco, Dumbairton; ) is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde where the River Leven flows into the Clyde estuary. Brechin City F
Brechin (; gd, Breichin) is a city and former Royal burgh in Angus, Scotland. Traditionally Brechin was described as a city because of its cathedral and its status as the seat of a pre-Reformation Roman Catholic diocese (which continues today as an episcopal seat of the Scottish Episcopal Church), but that status has not been officially recognised in the modern era. Crawford Allan (born 16 May 1967) is a retired Scottish football referee. He was appointed Head of Referee Operations at the Scottish FA on the 13th January 2020.
