FSV Optik Rathenow
FSV Optik Rathenow is a German association football club who compete in the Oberliga. The club is situated in the city of Rathenow, near Berlin, and play their home games at the Vogelgesang. In 1994, the club earned three promotions in quick succession under coach, Ingo Kahlisch, and reached Germany's 3rd tier, enjoying a three-season spell at that level competing against the likes of FC Union Berlin and Dynamo Dresden. Following their return to fourth-tier play in 1997, the Rathenowers were regulars in the competition until 2005. The club has featured twice in the DFB Pokal main rounds, most recently against 2. NOFV-Oberliga Süd
The NOFV-Oberliga Süd is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the southern states of the former East Germany. It covers the German states of Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Saxony and southern Brandenburg. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Overview The NOFV-Oberliga Sud was formed in 1991 when, along with the political reunion of Germany, the East German football league system was integrated into a unified German system. The abbreviation NOFV stands for ''Nordostdeutscher Fußballverband'', meaning ''North East German Football Association''. Along with this league, two other NOFV-Oberligen were formed, the NOFV-Oberliga Mitte and the NOFV-Oberliga Nord. 2015–16 Regionalliga
The 2015–16 Regionalliga was the eighth season of the Regionalliga, the fourth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – SV Werder Bremen II, the champions of the Regionalliga Nordost – 1. FC Magdeburg, and the champions of Regionalliga Bayern – Würzburger Kickers were promoted to the 3. Liga. Borussia Dortmund II, SpVgg Unterhaching and SSV Jahn Regensburg were relegated from 3. Liga. Regionalliga Nord 18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein competed in the fourth season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord. 15 teams were retained from the last season and 3 teams were promoted from the Oberliga – Niedersachsenliga champions SV Drochtersen/Assel and the two Regionalliga North promotion playoff winners VfV 06 Hildesheim, Niedersachsenliga runners-up, and TSV Schilksee, Schleswig-Holstein-Liga champions. SV Altlüdersdorf is a German football club based in Gransee, currently playing in the Brandenburg-Liga (VI) after 9 seasons in the NOFV-Oberliga Nord (V).
