2014 Supercopa De Chile
The 2014 Supercopa de Chile was the second edition of this championship organised by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). The match was played between the 2013–14 Primera División Best-Champions O'Higgins, and the 2013–14 Copa Chile Winners Deportes Iquique. O'Higgins won its first Supercopa in his history, winning 3–2 on penalties, after a 1–1 draw at the end of 120 minutes with goals of Rodrigo Díaz for Iquique and Luis Pedro Figueroa for O'Higgins. Match The match was disputed at Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago as a neutral stadium, and the referee chosen for the match was Roberto Tobar. In the first half, Rodrigo Díaz scored to make it 1–0 for Iquique at the 5th minute. At minute 8', O'Higgins striker Pablo Calandria suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament, making a substitution for Diego Cháves. Supercopa De Chile
The Supercopa de Chile (''Supercup of Chile'') is an annual one-match football (soccer), football official competition in Chile organised by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). This competition serves as the season opener and is played between the Chilean Primera División, Campeonato Nacional Champions and the winners of the Copa Chile of the previous season. Host city The stadium that hosted the match and the date are defined when the two teams are qualified, for reason of distance between the two clubs. Club Deportivo Huachipato is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that is a current member of the Chilean Primera División. The club was founded 7 June 1947 and plays its home games at the Estadio CAP, which has a capacity of 10,500 people (all-seated). History In 1947, CD Huachipato was officially notarized, and the first official recorded game was played. The original fans were the local company employees of the steel industry in Huachipato. Manuel Arturo Villalobos Salvo (born October 15, 1980) is a Chilean former footballer and current manager. Playing career Villalobos joined Colo-Colo's youth squad at the age of ten in 1990. In 1997, he made his professional debut. In 2000, he was loaned to Fernández Vial to gain more playing time and experience. During his time with Fernández Vial he was the second leading scorer of the Primera B (Chilean Second Division). After his impressive season Villalobos was loaned six months to Primera División (Chilean First Division) squad O'Higgins. He then spent the next six months with Deportes Talcahuano.
