2014 South Korean Figure Skating Championships
The 2014 South Korean Figure Skating Championships ( ko, 제68회 전국 남녀 피겨스케이팅 종합선수권대회) was the South Korean Figure Skating Championships for the 2013-2014 season. It was the 68th edition of those championships held. It was organized by the Korean Skating Union. Skaters competed in the disciplines of single skating, men's and ladies' singles on the senior, junior levels and ice dancing on the senior levels for the title of list of national championships in figure skating, national champion of South Korea. (Skaters in Novice Levels competed at Novice Championship in November 2013) The results of the national championships were used to choose the Korean teams to the 2014 World Figure Skating Championships. Goyang
Goyang (''Goyang-si''; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province in the north of South Korea. It is part of the Seoul Capital Area, making Goyang one of Seoul's satellite cities. Lee June-hyoung
Lee June-hyoung (Hangul:이준형) (born October 28, 1996) is a South Korean former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 JGP France champion and a three-time South Korean national champion (2013, 2015, 2016). He is the first South Korean male figure skater who stood on the podium and won gold at ISU events. Also, he is the first Korean male skater to qualify for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Personal life Lee June-hyoung was born in Seoul, South Korea. His mother, Oh Ji Youn, is a figure skating coach. Career Early years Lee was coached by his mother from the age of seven to 14. Kim Na-hyun (; born January 3, 2000) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2016 CS Lombardia Trophy silver medalist and has finished in the top ten at two ISU Championships. Byun Se-jong (Hangul:변세종) (born May 4, 1998) is a South Korean figure skater. He is bronze medalist of 2018 CS Asian Open Trophy, and competed in the free skate at two Four Continents Championships (2015, 2016). Alex Kang-chan Kam (born 23 May 1995) is a South Korean figure skater. He has represented South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics. As a single skater, he competed in the free skate at the 2012 Four Continents Championships. In 2015, he switched to pair skating, teaming up with Kim Kyu-eun in 2016.
