2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Season
The 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season was the eighth season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, which took place in the summer of 2014. The season consisted of 11 races at 10 different venues, of which 7 were held on ovals. It began with the Pinty's presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on May 18 and ended with the Pinty's 250 at Kawartha Speedway on September 20. Scott Steckly entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin won his first series championship at Kawartha Speedway, finishing three points ahead of J. R. Fitzpatrick. Dumoulin won two races during the season, at Saskatoon and Trois-Rivières, and finished every race inside the top nine placings; this run included nine top-five finishes. John Flemming (racing Driver)
John Flemming (born March 10, 1967 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian professional racing driver. Flemming currently drives the #97 Happy Harry's Affordable Building Dodge for Flemming Motorsports in the Parts For Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Racing career Early career Flemming entered a demolition derby in 1984, winning it, and catching the racing bug. The following year Flemming entered the street stock division at Scotia Speedworld in Enfield, Nova Scotia, just across the highway from the Halifax International Airport. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, driving the No. 18 Chevrolet Camaro for 22 Racing. Jacques Joseph Charles Villeneuve ( born 9 April 1971) is a Canadian professional racing driver and amateur musician who won the 1997 Formula One World Championship with Williams. In addition to Formula One (F1) he has competed in various other forms of motor racing, winning the 1995 Indianapolis 500 and the 1995 PPG Indy Car World Series. He is the son of former Ferrari racing driver Gilles Villeneuve. Jean-François Dumoulin (born May 5, 1976) is a Canadian racing driver. He competes in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship for Magnus Racing, as well as the NASCAR Pinty's Series. He is the older brother of Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. Grand-Am career He made his first career start in the series in 2000 with a fifth-place finish in his class. The following year, he earned a class victory at the Circuit Trois-Rivières. He also competed at the KONI Challenge Series and earned a class victory at Watkins Glen International. In 2002, he won the KONI Championship in the ST Class, despite not winning a single event. He won six races in the GSI class the following year and captured the title. Dodge
Dodge is an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Dodge vehicles have historically included performance cars, and for much of its existence Dodge was Chrysler's mid-priced brand above Plymouth. Mark Dilley (born January 20, 1969) is a Canadian race car driver. He competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 64 Leland/BDI/PartSource Ford Fusion for Micks Motorsports. Dilley has been co-owner of Sauble Speedway since May 2017. Early career Dilley drove in the CASCAR Super Series from 1990 until 2006 when the series was bought by NASCAR and rebranded as the Canadian Tire Series. Dilley won the CASCAR Super Series Championship in 1994.
