The 2014 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl was a college football bowl game that was played on December 20, 2014 at Albertsons Stadium on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It was one of the 2014–15 bowl games that concluded the 2014 FBS football season. The eighteenth annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, it pitted the Western Michigan Broncos of the Mid-American Conference against the Air Force Falcons of the Mountain West Conference. Albertsons Stadium
Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It is the home field of the Boise State Broncos of the Mountain West Conference. Known as Bronco Stadium for its first 44 seasons, it was renamed in May 2014 when Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson, purchased the naming rights. Zachary Steven Terrell (born May 1, 1993) is an American football quarterback. He played college football for the Western Michigan Broncos where he won the William V. Campbell Trophy his senior year. The group's main initiative is ''Grown in Idaho'' — a collective trade mark program for marketing Idaho-grown potatoes, products containing them, and accompanying advertising campaigns. The 2014 Western Michigan Broncos football team represented Western Michigan University (WMU) in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by second-year head coach P. J. Fleck and played their home games at Waldo Stadium as a member of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
