2014 Critérium International
The 2014 Critérium International, was the 83rd edition of the Critérium International cycling stage race. It took place on the island of Corsica, around the city of Porto Vecchio. As the previous two editions, the race consisted of three stages, with the first two held on the same day. The second stage was a short individual time trial. The race was won by Jean-Christophe Péraud of , who won the overall classification without winning any stage. Mathias Frank () was second in the overall classification and won both the Points and the King of the Mountains classifications, while 's Rafał Majka finished ahead of the Young Rider classification. 2014 UCI Europe Tour
The 2014 UCI Europe Tour was the tenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 season began on 2 February 2014 with the Grand Prix d'Ouverture La Marseillaise, Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and ended on 19 October 2014 with the Chrono des Nations. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Riccardo Zoidl of Austria was the defending champion of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 Europe Tour was won by Tom Van Asbroeck. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Matthias Brändle
Matthias Brändle (born 7 December 1989) is an Austrian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Brändle is a seven-time winner of the Austrian National Time Trial Championships (2009, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2021), and also won the Austrian National Road Race Championships in 2016. Tony Hurel (born 1 November 1987) is a French professional road and cyclo-cross racer, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . Career Born in Lisieux, Hurel competed as a professional from the start of the 2011 season, joining full-time after two stagiaire contracts with the team, then known as in the second half of 2009 and 2010 respectively.
