2014 CAF Champions League
The 2014 CAF Champions League (also known as the 2014 Orange CAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons) was the 50th edition of Africa's premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the 18th edition under the current CAF Champions League format. The two-time defending champions Al-Ahly were eliminated in the second round by Al-Ahly Benghazi. In the final, ES Sétif of Algeria defeated AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the away goals rule after drawing 3–3 on aggregate, to win their second title. They qualified for the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup, and earned the right to play in the 2015 CAF Super Cup. 2014 FIFA Club World Cup
The 2014 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2014 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation's league champions. It was hosted by Morocco for the second year in a row, and played from 10 to 20 December 2014. Defending champions Bayern Munich did not qualify as they were eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League by eventual winners Real Madrid. The Spanish side went on to beat Mexico's Cruz Azul 4–0 in the Club World Cup semi-finals, before defeating San Lorenzo 2–0 in the final to give them their first Club World Cup title. 2010–11 Egyptian Premier League
The 2010–11 Egyptian Premier League is the fifty-fourth season of the Egyptian Premier League since its establishment in 1948. It began on 5 August 2010 and ended on 11 July 2011. The league was suspended on 27 January 2011 due to the Egyptian Revolution and resumed on 13 April 2011. A total of 16 teams are contesting the league including six-time defending champions Al-Ahly S.C. who have won thirty-five times in total. Teams Ghazl El-Mehalla, El Mansoura SC and Asyut Petroleum as the worst three teams of the 2009–10 were relegated to the 2010–11 Egyptian Second Division. The Egyptian Football Association ( ar, الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم) is the governing body of football in Egypt. A member of FIFA since 1923 and a founding member of CAF, the EFA has jurisdiction for the Egyptian football league system and is in charge of the men's and women's national teams.
