2013–14 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. This was the 33rd official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and ladies. Eirik Brandsdal (born November 11, 1986) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who began competing in 2005. His five World Cup victories came in sprint events in Otepää on 23 January 2011, in Milan on 14 January 2012, in Drammen on 7 March 2012, in Kuusamo on 29 November 2014 and in Drammen Drammen () is a city and municipality in Viken, Norway. Alexander Gennadiyevich Legkov (russian: Алекса́ндр Геннáдьевич Легков; born 7 May 1983) is a retired Russian cross-country skier who competed internationally between 2002 and 2017. He has five individual World Cup victories including one Tour de Ski title, as well as gold and silver medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Biography Legkov participated in three Winter Olympic Games (2006, 2010, 2014). Legkov finished in fourth place after a strong final push to catch then-leader Johan Olsson of Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympics' 30 km double pursuit. Maxim Mikhailovich Vylegzhanin (russian: Максим Михайлович Вылегжанин; born 18 October 1982) is a Russian former cross country skier and a three-time Olympic silver medalist at the 2014 Sochi Olympics in 50 km freestyle, 4 × 10 km relay and team sprint. He was stripped of his 2014 Olympic medals by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on 9 November 2017, however on 1 February 2018, his results were restored as a result of the successful appeal. Vylegzhanin has competed since 2002. His first World Cup start was on 22 January 2005 in Pragelato, Italy. He won a silver medal in the 50 km event (time: 1:59:38:8 – average speed 25,1 km/h) at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. Sergey Aleksandrovich Ustiugov (russian: Сергей Александрович Устюгов; born 8 April 1992) is a Russian Cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier, Olympic champion, world champion and Tour de Ski winner. Carl Marcus Joakim Hellner (born 25 November 1985) is a Swedish former cross-country skier who competed between 2003 and 2018. He retired at the end of the 2017-18 FIS World Cup season. Athletic career Hellner had a total of seven victories in the junior levels of cross-country skiing up to 30 km from 2003 to 2005. Maurice Manificat (born 4 April 1986) is a French cross-country skier who has competed since 2004. Career He has achieved three World Cup victories, in Lahti (March 2010), in Canmore (December 2012), both in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit event, and in Davos (December 2017), in 15 km freestyle. Manificat also finished 47th in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit event at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. Eldar Rønning (born 11 June 1982 in Levanger) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. He skis with the Skogn IL club, in Nord-Trøndelag. Career In 2004/05, he achieved three podium finishes in World Cup Sprint events, including a win at Reit im Winkl. He finished the season in 10th, 235 points behind overall winner Axel Teichmann. He was 62nd in the distance standings, 520 points behind Teichmann, and came second in the sprint discipline, 237 points behind fellow countryman Tor Arne Hetland. He also came second in the sprint discipline at the Norwegian national championships. Rønning shared the 2005/06 season between the World Cup and the Scandinavian Cup, competing almost exclusively in sprints. Lukáš Bauer (; born 18 August 1977) is a Czech cross-country skier who has competed since 1996. Biography On 17 February 2006 he won the Winter Olympics silver medal for the 15 km cross-country classical. His best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was second in the 15 km classic in 2009. Bauer is son-in-law of another Czech skier Helena Balatková-Šikolová. In season 2007–08 he was overall winner of the men's version of the Tour de Ski and FIS Cross-Country World Cup.
