The 2013/14 season of the Azerbaijan Women's Volleyball Super League ( az, Azərbaycan Volleybol Superliqası), was the sixth annual season of the country's highest volleyball level. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

Baku Sports Palace (also known as Baku Sport Hall) is an indoor arena located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Originally the arena is named as Palace of Hand Games ( az, Əl Oyunları Sarayı) until 2015. Pleumjit Thinkaow
Pleumjit Thinkaow ( th, ปลื้มจิตร์ ถินขาว; ; born 9 November 1983) is a Thai volleyball player. She was a member of the Thailand women's national volleyball team. Her international debut was at the 21st SEA Games in Malaysia. Personal life Pleumjit grew up in a sport-loving family in Angthong (a province about 100 km. north of Bangkok), having an elder brother. Her parents are civil servants. Before she started playing volleyball, she had been rather into table tennis. She switched to volleyball following her father's advice that volleyball was more fun and more likely to become popular. Afterwards, a volleyball coach of Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) School in Bangkok was so impressed by her playing that he brought her to the school during her high-school level. Manon Flier
Manon Nummerdor-Flier (born 8 February 1984 in Nieuwleusen, Overijssel) is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands, who plays as an opposite. Career Flier was named Most Valuable Player at the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix in Ningbo, PR China, where the Dutch national team won the gold medal. Flier lost the bronze medal at the 2010–11 CEV Champions League after her team Scavolini Pesaro was defeated 3–1 by the Turkish Fenerbahçe Acıbadem. She was individually awarded "Best Spiker". In July 2011, Toray Arrows announced that she was joining for the 2011–12 season. Flier won the bronze medal with Igtisadchi Baku in the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Super League and the Best Server award. Annerys Victoria Vargas Valdez (born August 7, 1981) is a retired female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won four consecutive gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games. Career 2003 She won gold medal with the women's national team at the 2003 Pan American Games in her home town Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. There she was awarded best server and blocker. Nootsara Tomkom ( th, นุศรา ต้อมคำ; ) is a Thai volleyball player. She has been selected to play for the Thailand women's national volleyball team 39 times. Career She participated at the 2006 FIVB World Grand Prix. Telekom Baku (formerly named Rabita Baku) was an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club. Telekom was an eight-time champion of Azerbaijani Superleague and the winner of the 2011 FIVB Club World Championship. Igtisadchi Baku
Igtisadchi Baku is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club. History Igtisadchi Baku was founded in the Summer of 2008 and immediately got the right to participate in the Azerbaijan Super League, qualifying after just one season to the CEV Women's Challenge Cup. The following season saw Igtisadchi Baku eliminated in the second round table of European competition, because of the deployment of an ineligible player in the qualification to the Challenge Cup.
