2013–14 AaB Fodbold Season
The 2013–14 season is AaB's 31st consecutive season in the top flight of Danish football, 24th consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, and the 128th year as a football club. AaB will participate in the Europa League this season, coming in 5th place in the 2012–13 Danish Superliga. The club had the most successful season in its history, winning the Danish Superliga for a fourth time and the Danish Cup for a third time, therefore becoming the fifth Danish club to complete the "Double". AaB Fodbold
AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg. The club is represented in the Danish Superliga and has won four Danish football Championships and three Danish Cup trophies. Most recently the team won the double in 2014. AaB was founded on 13 May 1885 by English engineers who were building Jutland's railway system, and the first years was concentrated on the game of cricket. It was initially named Aalborg Cricketklub (Aalborg Cricket club) but the name of the club was changed to Aalborg Boldklub (Aalborg ballclub) in 1899. Football was adopted on an amateur basis in 1902, and has since been the main sport, as the name was changed to the current Aalborg Boldspilklub af 1885 (Aalborg ballgameclub of 1885) in 1906. 2013–14 UEFA Europa League
The 2013–14 UEFA Europa League was the 43rd season of Europe's secondary club association football, football tournament organised by UEFA, and the fifth season under its current title. The 2014 UEFA Europa League Final was played between Sevilla FC, Sevilla and S.L. Benfica, Benfica at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy, which was won by Sevilla on Penalty shoot-out (association football), penalties, giving them a record-equalling third UEFA Cup/Europa League title. Jakob Ahlmann Nielsen
Jakob Ahlmann Nielsen (born 18 January 1991) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for AaB in the Danish Superliga. He has played three matches for the Denmark national football team. Club career Early career Ahlmann started playing football in the youth of Brønderslev IF. As a 13-year-old, he was discovered by AaB and joined the club's youth department. In 2006, two years after his transfer to AaB, however, he moved to FC Midtjylland, to play for their youth academy. Fodbold Club Fredericia af 1991 (, simply known as FC Fredericia), is a professional association football club based in the town of Fredericia, Denmark, that competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of the Danish football league system. Carsten Christensen (born 28 August 1986) is a retired Danish goalkeeper and current goalkeeper coach of FC Fredericia. Christensen has represented SønderjyskE and FC Fredericia. Lyngby Boldklub () is a Danish professional football club founded in 1921. It is based at Lyngby Stadion in Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, a northern suburb of Copenhagen. From 1994 to 2001 the club was known as Lyngby FC. The club has won the Danish championship twice (1983 and 1992) and the Danish Cup three times (1984, 1985 and 1990). Nicolai Larsen
Nicolai Oppen Larsen (born 9 March 1991) is a Danish professional association football, footballer who plays for Silkeborg IF. Beginning his career in Lyngby Boldklub, Larsen moved to AaB Fodbold, AaB in 2010. There, he established himself as a starter and was part of a historical season where AaB won the Danish ''Double (association football), Double'', as they secured the Danish Superliga and the Danish Cup in the 2013–14 Danish Superliga, 2013–14 season. He also experienced personal success at the club, winning the Det Gyldne Bur, Danish Goalkeeper of the Year award for 2014.
