Mohali, officially known as Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, is a planned city in the Mohali district in Punjab (India), Punjab, India, which is an administrative and a commercial hub lying south-west of Chandigarh. Hockey India League
Hockey India League (HIL), known as the Coal India Hockey India League is a professional field hockey league in India. The league is organized by Hockey India, the governing body for the sport in India. HIL, along with the Indian Premier League, Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League, is considered one of the major sports leagues in the country. HIL consists of six teams, with the regular season lasting two months from January to February, with each team playing 10 games. The top four teams at the end of the season move into the play-offs, where the championship game decides the Hockey India League winner. Ranchi Rhinos (abbreviated as RR) was a field hockey team based in Ranchi, Jharkhand that played in the Hockey India League. The team won the inaugural season of Hockey India League defeating Delhi Waveriders by 2-1. It is owned by Patel-Uniexcel Group. 2013 South Asian Games
The 2013 South Asian Games, officially the XII South Asian Games, was a scheduled multi-sport event to take place in Guwahati and Shillong, India. With this edition of the Games, India became the second country to host the Games three times (the previous editions being held in Kolkata in 1987 and Madras in 1995), after Bangladesh. 2013 Irani Cup
The 2013 Irani Cup, also called 2013 Irani Trophy, was the 51st season of the Irani Cup, a first-class cricket competition in India. It was a one-off match which was played from 6 February 2013 to 10 February 2013 between the 2012–13 Ranji champions Mumbai and the Rest of India team. Wankhede Stadium, the home ground of Mumbai, hosted the match. The match was drawn and Rest of India retained the Irani Cup by virtue of their first innings lead.
