2013 United States Figure Skating Championships
The 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships was the national figure skating championships of the United States for the 2012–13 season. The event was held at the CenturyLink Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska on January 19–27, 2013. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing at the senior, junior and novice levels. For the first time, the event was expanded to include juvenile and intermediate level competitions, previously held at a separate event. The results are part of the U.S. selection criteria for the 2013 World Junior Championships, 2013 Four Continents Championships and 2013 World Championships. 2012–13 Figure Skating Season
The 2012–13 figure skating season began on July 1, 2012, and ended on June 30, 2013. During this season, elite skaters from men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance competed on the International Skating Union (ISU) Championship level at the 2013 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. They also competed in elite events such as the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final. Eliana Gropman (born February 5, 2001) is an American ice dancer. With her former skating partner, Ian Somerville, she is the 2019 U.S. national junior bronze medalist and the 2018 JGP Slovakia bronze medalist.
