2013 U.S. Women's Open
The 2013 U.S. Women's Open was the 68th U.S. Women's Open, held June 27–30 at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, New York. It was first time the championship was played on Long Island and marked a return to the greater New York City area, which last hosted the U.S. Women's Open in 1987. Inbee Park won her second U.S. Women's Open title, four strokes ahead of runner-up I.K. Kim. It was Park's fourth major title and third consecutive in 2013. She is the first to win the opening three majors of a season since Babe Zaharias in 1950. The event was televised by ESPN and NBC Sports. The U.S. Women's Open is the oldest of the five current major championships and was the third of the 2013 season. Southampton, officially the Town of Southampton, is a town in southeastern Suffolk County, New York, partly on the South Fork of Long Island. Jaye Marie Green
Jaye Marie Green (born February 2, 1994) is an American professional golfer and member of the LPGA Tour. She won the 2011 Junior Solheim Cup, was a finalist at the 2012 U.S. Women's Amateur, tied for 5th at the 2019 U.S. Women's Open, and was runner-up at the 2019 Volunteers of America Classic. Lydia Ko (born 24 April 1997) is a New Zealand professional golfer and the No. 1-ranked woman professional golfer. She first achieved the top ranking on 2 February 2015 at of age, making her the youngest player of either gender to be ranked No. 1 in professional golf. Meg Mallon
Meg Mallon (born April 14, 1963) is an American professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1987 and won 18 LPGA Tour events, including four major championships, during her career. Hilary Lunke
Hilary Lunke (born Hilary Homeyer on June 7, 1979) is a retired American professional golfer best known for winning the 2003 U.S. Women's Open. Homeyer was born in Edina, Minnesota. She attended Stanford University and became a member of the LPGA Tour in 2002. On July 7, 2003, Lunke defeated Kelly Robbins and Angela Stanford in an 18-hole playoff to win the U.S. Women's Open for her first and only LPGA win. Na Yeon Choi ( ko, 최나연 ; born 28 October 1987) is a South Korean professional golfer playing on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. In July 2012, she won the U.S. Women's Open for her first major championship.
