Mackenzie Hughes
Mackenzie Hughes (born November 23, 1990) is a Canadian professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Hughes was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He is a graduate of Kent State University. He won the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Amateur Championship. Hughes was the number one Canadian Amateur in 2011. He was a member of Team Canada's National Squad in 2008, 2011, and 2012. Professional career Hughes turned professional in 2012 and played on the eGolf Professional Tour and PGA Tour Canada. He played in 2012 and 2013 Canadian Opens but missed the cut in both events. In June 2013, Hughes qualified for the U.S. Open, winning a playoff at his sectional qualifying site. He won his first professional tournament at the 2013 Cape Breton Celtic Classic on PGA Tour Canada. ATB Financial Classic
The ATB Financial Classic is a golf tournament on PGA Tour Canada. It was first played in 2007, and was merged with the Edmonton Open in 2010. From 2007 to 2015, it was played at a different course in Alberta each year. From 2016 to 2021, it was played at Country Hills Golf Club in Calgary. In 2022, it moved to Edmonton Petroleum Golf and Country Club in Edmonton. The 2013 PGA Tour Latinoamérica, titled as the 2013 NEC Series-PGA Tour Latinoamérica for sponsorship reasons, was the second season of PGA Tour Latinoamérica, the main professional golf tour in Latin America, operated and run by the PGA Tour. Changes for 2013 The 2013 season was the first full season on the tour with the 2012 season having only operated for four months in 2012. The 2013 schedule was divided into two distinct swings, the first with events played from March through May, followed by the remainder of events in the October through December. PGA Tour Canada, commonly referred to as the Canadian Tour, is a men's professional golf tour headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. The United States based PGA Tour took over operation of the tour on November 1, 2012, at which time it was renamed PGA Tour Canada. In 2015, Mackenzie Investments became the umbrella sponsor of the tour, branding it as the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada. Tour Championship Of Canada
The Tour Championship of Canada is an annual golf tournament played on PGA Tour Canada, commonly known as the Canadian Tour. It is the last tournament played in the season, and in 2022 had a purse of C$225,000. The tournament was founded in 2002 as the Bay Mills Open, hosted at the Bay Mills Resort in Brimley, Michigan, United States, and became designated as the Canadian Tour's "Players Championship" the following year. In 2006, the tournament moved to Ontario, Canada as the new Canadian Tour Championship. It has since remained in Ontario, and adopted different names under various title sponsors. In 2015, it was an event reserved for those in the top 60 on the PGA Tour Canada money list. All players in this tournament retain PGA Tour Canada status. It is also a final chance to finish in the top five on the Order of Merit to earn Korn Ferry Tour cards or at least improve their position for qualifying school. Mark Hubbard (born May 24, 1989) is an American professional golfer. College career Hubbard golfed for San Jose State University from 2007 to 2011. A 2009 first-team all-Western Athletic Conference (WAC) honoree, he twice qualified for the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, in 2009 and 2011.
