The 2013 New Orleans Bowl was an American college football bowl game that was played on December 21, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. The thirteenth edition of the New Orleans Bowl, it featured the 2013 Tulane Green Wave football team, Tulane Green Wave of Conference USA against the 2013 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns football team, Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns of the Sun Belt Conference. The game began at 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, CST and aired on ESPN. It was one of the 2013–14 NCAA football bowl games, 2013–14 bowl games that concluded the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season, 2013 FBS football season. The Caesars Superdome, commonly known as the Superdome (formerly known as Mercedes-Benz Superdome), is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the home stadium of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL).
