2013 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Season
The 2013 NCAA Division I men's soccer season was the 55th season of NCAA championship men's college soccer. There were 203 teams in men's Division I competition. The defending champions were the Indiana Hoosiers who defeated the Georgetown Hoyas in the 2012 College Cup. The season concluded with Notre Dame defeating Maryland 2–1 to win its first NCAA soccer title. Eastern Illinois Panthers Men's Soccer
The Eastern Illinois Panthers men's soccer team represents Eastern Illinois University (EIU) as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in NCAA Division I soccer. The Panthers play their home matches at Lakeside Soccer Field located directly south of the Lantz Arena complex on the EIU campus in Charleston, Illinois. Conference membership Eastern Illinois is currently a full member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC), which did not sponsor men's soccer until the 2023 season. Before the OVC launched its men's soccer league, EIU was an associate member of the Summit League for men's soccer, and remains an associate of that conference in men's and women's swimming & diving. Grand Canyon Antelopes Men's Soccer
The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's soccer program represents Grand Canyon University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The 2012 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament is a single-elimination tournament involving 48 teams to determine the champion of the 2012 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It was the 54th edition of the tournament. Indiana defeated Georgetown, 1–0, to win its 8th national title. Qualified Teams A total of 48 teams will qualify into the tournament proper, either automatically, or through an at-large bid that is determined by a selection committee. Each conference that field varsity soccer teams are admitted one automatic berth into the tournament. The Georgetown Hoyas are the collegiate athletics teams that officially represent Georgetown University, located in Washington, D.C.
