2013 Montreal Alouettes Season
The 2013 Montreal Alouettes season was the 47th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 59th overall. The Alouettes finished in third place in the East Division with an 8–10 record and struggled to make the playoffs after losing Anthony Calvillo to a career ending concussion, but made the playoffs for an 18th straight season, but lost in the East Division Semi-Final to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 19–16 in overtime. Canadian Football League East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the East Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The Guelph Gryphons are the athletic teams that represent the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Michael Joseph Klassen (born March 20, 1991) is a former professional Canadian football defensive lineman. He was drafted in the fourth round, 32nd overall by the Montreal Alouettes in the 2013 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 27, 2013. He played CIS football for the Calgary Dinos. The UConn Huskies football team is a college football team that represents the University of Connecticut in the sport of American football. The team competes in NCAA Division I FBS as an Independent. Connecticut first fielded a team in 1896, and participated in Division I-AA until 1999. The Huskies began their two-year Division I-A transition period in 2000, and became a full-fledged Division I-A team in 2002. From 2000 to 2003 the team played as an independent. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
