The 2013 MTN 8 was the 39th tournament of South Africa's annual football (soccer) cup competition. It featured the top eight teams of the Premier Soccer League table at the end of the 2012-13 season. Platinum is a chemical element with the symbol Pt and atomic number 78. It is a dense, malleable, ductile, highly unreactive, precious, silverish-white transition metal. Faty Papy (18 September 1990 – 25 April 2019) was a Burundian professional association football player who last played for Malanti Chiefs in the Premier League of Eswatini. He also played with the Burundi national football team. Career Papy signed on 25 December 2008 for Trabzonspor, coming from AS Inter Star a football club based in Bujumbura. Lawrence Siphiwe Tshabalala (; born 25 September 1984) is a South African professional football player who most recently played as a midfielder for AmaZulu. He is considered to be one of the most well-known and decorated South African soccer players of his generation. Tefu Mashamaite (born 27 September 1984 in Bochum, Transvaal) is a South African association football player who plays as a defender. Mashamaite is known for punishing defences with his powerful headers from corners and dead ball situations and his penchant for scoring in his hometown of Polokwane. Phokeng
Phokeng is a town in Rustenburg of the North West province of South Africa. It is the capital of the Royal Bafokeng Nation. Historically, it was known as ''Magatostad'' among white South Africans. Royal Bafokeng Stadium
The Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace is a football, rugby and athletics stadium in Phokeng near Rustenburg, South Africa. It was built and is managed by the Royal Bafokeng Nation. It was used as the home stadium for Premier Soccer League club Platinum Stars. The Leopards rugby team host large attendance matches during the Currie Cup at the stadium, instead of their usual home ground, Olën Park. The capacity of the stadium was increased from 38,000 to 42,000 to be able to host five first round matches and one second round match at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Katlego "Mahoota" Mashego (born 18 May 1982 in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga) is a South African professional football (soccer) striker who most recently played for Premier Soccer League side Chippa United. He represented the South Africa national team on 22 occasions, scoring twice. Tshepo Gumede
Tshepo Gumede (born 21 April 1991) is a South African professional footballer who plays for Marumo Gallants (formerly Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club) as a defender. Club career Gumede began his youth career at Arcadia Shepherds before joining the SuperSport United academy. He spent a season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces but failed to make an appearance.
